  There is not much in the way of variety of African animals. On a lucky day you will see almost all, if unlucky you won't see many. I do think that Werribee Zoo has the potential to add more variety as they have so much land, however i know that can be easier said than done and i do appreciate seeing the animals they do have with so much space and living close enough to their natural habitat. I will continue to support this zoo as they are working to fight extinction and support african communities. They have a good cause and at the same time are offering entertainment for us all. Can't really complain! The animal's look happy and healthy and i get to see what i may never see unless i fly overseas! So thank you Werribee Zoo!

  Living in the far eastern suburbs we always wondered, being so far away if it was worth the effort of travelling. However we took the train and both my 8yo son and I were more than just pleasantly surprised. The experience was memorable informative and most enjoyable. We will certainly do this again in the near future Well done RRN

  What's not to love? Well... animals being captive at all can be a downer, but the conditions seem pretty damn good for a zoo and the value of good education about animals to the human population is of great value to the greater good for the appreciation and respect it brings for the versatility and wonder of life on this planet of ours. Our family loves coming here.
